Amine Sensitivity Diet

When your practtioner of NAET and kinesiology finds an amine sensitivity or allergy in you then it is best to greatly reduce the amines in your diet.

I must stress that in our methods this is not a permanet necessity. This is because the body can dapt and learn to deal with the allergen.

In natural and wholistic therapies a similar method is used to modern medicine. However with a very important difference.

In Modern alopathic meidicne when a sensitivty is found then often drops or liquid state of that allergen can be given daily to gradually increase the patients ability to cope.

This is similar to somehow who is a bit weak in their muscles- so you load their muslces to the level that they CAN cope with- but challenges the muscles- THEN gradually that load is increased is some way till the body gets stronger.

Now it is the same thing wiht allergy treatemtn through allopathic medicine- they design drops that you take every day to get your body used to it and builds it ability to cope.

HOWEVER allergies and sensitivies are a bit diferent to muscles and sometimes in taking the drops the body does not buidl its ability but the body just reacts to the drops that are taken. So the abilty does not built. However the logic still holds true.

With our allergy and sensitivity treatment we expose. the patient to the allergen in the office and THEN WE DO SOMETHING DIFFERENT- we stimulate the nervous system and the meridian system in a way that HELPS the body to adapt in a more healthy way. SO here we guide the body how to adapt while the body is exposed to the item.

So this is done with those with amine sensitivty. THEN whe we feel that the body has learned how to deal wiith amines in a more healthy even keeled way. We then get the patient to gradually increase the amine foods to a normal level.

So the treatment is in the clinic- However at firwst obviously we need to avoid the allergen- in this case the amine food to reduce the ijnflammation and congestion that the amine foods creates to your health. THEN we treat it and then wonderful you no longer have to avoid those amine foods any more.

However it is still best to keep the foods in a heathy perspective- it natural foods and dont overdue unhealthy foods.

So here it is:- Untill your body has been treated succesfully for amines consider the following amine foods to avoid.

High Amine foods include (highest amines in bold):


  • Red Wine, Beer, All Spirits except Gin, Vodka and Whisky
  • Coffee, Tea, Caffeinated Drinks
  • All Fruit Juices
  • Hot Dog, Sausage, Ham, Bratwurst, Salami, Corned Beef, Bacon, Smoked Meats, Pastramia, Liverwurst, Bacon, Organ Meats
  • Eggs
  • Chicken Liver
  • Sardines, Herring, Anchovies
  • Fava and Broad Beans
  • Yeasted Breads
  • Corn and Wheat Products
  • Citrus Fruit, Figs, Raisins, Bananas
  • Ripe Avocadoes
  • Nuts, particularly if aged
  • All Non-Soft Cheeses
  • Yoghurt, Sour Cream
  • Chocolate
  • Peanut Butter
  • Sauerkraut, Pickled Foods, Olives
  • Soy Sauce, Vegemite, Vinegar, Worcestershire Sauce, Bonox, Meat Extract
  • Aspartame, MSG, Gelatin
  • Prepared Frozen Foods
  • Left overs  >24hours
